Credit Calculator
The Credit Calculator is a standardized spreadsheet tool (using Microsoft Excel software) developed to help market participants calculate temperature credits from different types of restoration activities, including riparian shading, wetland systems, flow augmentation, and reclamation and reuse of wastewater. In each of the Credit Calculator worksheets, there is a "screening level analysis" and a "detailed analysis" section. The screening level is intended to enable a user to provide some relatively simple inputs to evaluate if a particular activity is likely to generate temperature reduction credits. This screening level analysis tool is intended to provide users with estimates of credit generating potential and its outputs do not consistute agency approved credits. The detailed analyses section provides guidance for more comprehensive analysis using agency-accepted models.

Templates
A lot of new information was developed during the course of developing a marketplace for ecosystem services. To make participation in the marketplace a little easier, standard templates for various contractual agreements, certificates, protocols, and standards were developed. These standard templates are available below.
Confidential Business Information Guidelines
Draft NPDES Permit Language for Thermal Load Issues
Standard Agreement for Credit Exchange
Standard Agreement for Credit Registration
Standard Agreement for Credit Verification Services
Temperature Offset Verification Protocol
Ecosystem Credit Registry
The Partnership working with Clean Water Services and Parametrix developed a registry and exchange tracking platform that (1) serves the initial transactions in the Willamette temperature market; and (2) lays the groundwork for evaluating the infrastructure needed for eventual implementation of the fully functional web-based system that will accommodate credit accounting and tracking across markets, jurisdictions, and regions. This registry prototype has been helpful exploring and explaining the unique market infrastructure needs for ecosystem credit markets. While the prototype we developed will be used to track initial transactions in the Willamette temperature market, it is also meant to serve as a learning tool for others learning about markets or contemplating development of market systems in other areas.
